No Hazardous or Harmful Materials

LED bulbs - regardless of their type, are engineered without any hazardous materials whatsoever. Disposing of LED tubes simply requires the recycling of plastic or other materials that may enclose the actual LED chips providing the light.

On the other hand, incandescent bulbs are full of tungsten which is harmful to the environment if not disposed of appropriately. Fluorescent bulbs are comprised of mercury, which is known to cause poisoning in both humans and wildlife.

Take the next step and eliminate the need to dispose of these materials - don't use them at all. LEDs provide higher lighting efficiency than the alternatives PLUS they don't contain any hazardous materials.
